Tay Bee Choo With over 31 years of dedicated service at the Housing Development Board and a founding member of the Singapore Institute of Landscape Architects (SILA) in the 1980s, Tay Bee Choo has played a pivotal role in advancing landscape architecture both locally and globally. She has held various leadership positions within SILA, including President, Hon. Secretary, and Hon. Treasurer, and has been a key representative in the International Federation of Landscape Architects (IFLA) World Council, serving as Treasurer (2003–2006) and Chairperson of the IFLA Student Charette (2002–2010). Her commitment to nurturing future talents and her passion for sustainable community spaces are evident in her extensive contributions to design competitions and advisory roles. Now, in her next chapter, Bee Choo is eager to dedicate more time to nurturing the landscape profession, fostering growth and mentorship among aspiring professionals and practitioners.
